The  Children’s  Gallery  and  Arts  Center, Inc. is a young  nonprofit organization 501 (c) (3) created by a small group of professionals and artists with  the main purpose  of  promoting  visual  and  performing  arts,  as  a  way  of  giving voice and choices to every person in our community, regardless of  their  circumstances. The idea is to offer the  community  a  functional place in which kids, teens and adults can create art and enjoy a wide variety of quality arts programming as part of their cultural enrichment.

We are located in a historic building right in the heart  of downtown Homestead. The facility that was restored into a modern edifice that  functions as atelier, gallery  and  performance  venue  for  the  arts  and  other  cultural  development. 

Besides our visual and performing arts workshops, two major attractions within the facility are precisely our art  gallery and our  gift  shop; in which  renowned  artists  and  students  display  their  show  and  share ideas informally with other artists and  visitors.

Our purpose is to participate in community development through the arts; to promote  the creation  and understanding of arts by  filling the field with new ideas and processes of  original,  innovative and creative expressions. Our Fine Arts Gallery is open to the public and also to all schools and learning centers that are using the arts as a way to enhance the education of their children. We also offer the place for field trips as a different day of visual learning.

Collaborators can use our gallery to exhibit with us their artworks  in group activities, and hosting special events. We also invite artists in all media- including designers, architects, photographers, poets,  writers,  dancers and  filmmakers-  to  participate  in  our  unique

mixed media exhibits.
